SACCN welcomes civil society organisations, non-governmental organisations, community-based organisations, research and academic institutions, government agencies, and development partners operating in the SADC region and committed to climate action, resilience, and justice.

SACCN operates on a solidarity-based fee structure aligned with the capacity of member organisations. Fees vary by membership tier and organisation size, and no eligible organisation is excluded due to financial constraints. Contact the Secretariat to discuss your situation.

The SACCN Secretariat reviews membership applications within 10 working days. Successful applicants are formally welcomed by the Executive Board at its next meeting. You will receive a confirmation email and membership welcome pack within 15 working days of approval.

Full Civil Society Membership is open to organisations based in SADC member states. Associate Membership and Institutional Partnership are open to organisations outside SADC who demonstrate meaningful commitment to supporting climate action in the SADC region.

Members are expected to participate in SACCN governance processes, contribute to knowledge sharing and collective action, uphold SACCN's guiding principles and Ubuntu values, and represent the network's positions and mission in their own advocacy and communications where appropriate.
